Went for the Armand Van Helden event and won't be back. Last entry was 9pm, but the headliner didn't start until 2am, and that wasn't made clear beforehand. It felt like a blatant cash grab to keep people in the venue for 5 hours waiting for the main set and buying drinks. The queue was huge, security were obnoxious, and the venue was unbearably hot and sweaty with no proper ventilation. The bar staff were alright, but shortly after 9pm there was only the cheapest beer and cider left. I saw a couple of people vomiting in the middle of the dance floor while security just stood and watched. Ended up leaving before Armand even came on. Really poor experience overall.

Avoid unless you love waiting 5 hours in a sauna. Complete logistical failure for the Armand Van Helden event. Forcing a 9pm entry curfew when the headliner isn't booked to play until 2am is just a blatant cash grab to keep a captive audience buying drinks. The queue to get in just before curfew was huge. By 2 I was completely dead on my feet and had to leave before Armand finished his set. Gutted. The venue itself is like a sauna, unbelievably sweaty and poorly ventilated. If you need the toilet, expect to spend half your night waiting in a massive queue for a handful of portaloos.

Old skool raver here, been to venues all over the UK amd this has to be the worse. The sound system is SHIT, the lights are shit, the portoloo’s awful, over sold event on a hot summer’s day so no air no space,, bar staff not enough, security could not give a damn and we’re rude. The worse venue in Bristol.

Armin Van Buuren was amazing but to be fair, the four female DJs have him a run for his money. Well done Document for a safe environment.

A large mixed space venue or a second venue for the Motion brand? Unlike the former skating park in St Philips this venue is little more than sound system and lights added to the former buildings. Reading some reviews of guys with their tops of (yobs Lol) the lack of ventilation in this place is beyond a joke. The water point at the end of a bar is only served by an external tap on the way out to porta loo city in the center of this site. I remember the cold condensed sweet failing from the ceiling at Motion way back when. Whilst Document only offered some breeze in the trample zones by the exit points. I’m sure that they (Motion) will sort this out at some point but I honestly hope it’s before my next visit
