I've been a resident here 3+ years now. Thanks to this space my practice and career have truly been put into a new realm. From working with other 'Bakers' in the creative fields who also share the space; the amazing building itself (especially the underfloor heating when its cold under my New Rock boots); and how adaptable and usable it really is. My creative practice has called itself home here, truly. But most importantly, for Paul Tait who runs it - the best host and friend.

A gem of a work space that is well designed and really well equipped. The Bakery has a friendly and genuine vibe and Paul ensures those that use it have everything they need- it’s never too much trouble. Location is a stones throw away from Leigh Broadway’s independent shops and cafes.

At a time when the working landscape is changing daily, having your own personal work 'space' has never been more precious - and The Bakery has considered your every need (both personal and communal). But that's just one of its many charms. It's an awesome setting within a great location, characterful building that's been wonderfully fitted-out, and a natural light that's ever-present - due to generous windows and skylight/s, which to me - sealed a deal that was already done.
