We have come back to play as a group of ladies The service is excellent as always and in particular Rob as a starter he is as lovely and helpful as he was last year a true assessment to the club so helpful pro staff very helpful thank you all x

We were given the 2 hour spa session as a gift we went early at 10am but it did fill up very quickly, one jacuzzi that seats 4 a few heated beds , the foot spa was lovely everything else was saunas fine if you like to sauna . We had finished within an hour and that included a swim . The changing rooms are awkward as multiple lockers are above the changing benches with people trying to get there clothes while you are changing no hooks to hang things on above benches and only a few cubicls . Showers are open so showering is not private facilities are clean and tidy Didn't stay for food Cabin cafe only served meals so went elsewhere for coffee and cake.

First time at China Fleet, went for an afternoon tea. The staff were polite. The main thing that I took from the experience was that when we sat down to a clean table, nicely set up, one of the knives on the plate had clearly been used. Crumbs on the knife and napkin. I asked for it to be replaced, which I am happy to brush off from the experience until it was brought back to me with clearly the same napkin (oil stained from the crumbs that she probably brushed off). I am assuming she replaced the knife but who knows. I expected high standards and quality from a restaurant connected to a spa. I expected more from the food. There wasn't a lot of savoury, mainly sweet. The cheese sandwich was nice but I (and my friend) didn't like the ham sandwich due to personal taste. Again I expected higher quality. I'm not sure what was different about the cream and jam but it didn't taste right. The scones themselves were perfect and warm though. Sadly I was disappointed from this experience and I would not go back there for a high tea. I wish I was writing a more positive review.
