Very nice independent coffee shop with great service (they bring the coffee and food to the table) and very good quality coffee in a nice location. Can get busy and the range of food is limited.

Quite a cosy little place with a good variety of pastries, good selection of teas. Although cinnamon pastry was not fresh and tasted stale. What really got my attention was the cleanliness and hygiene. The teaspoon I’ve been given was dirty and you could still see the mark of someone using it earlier. That just shows how the staff were unbothered to check. It looked like they ran out of clean cutlery and given someone else’s used teaspoon. I understand mistakes happen, but this just shows the lack of care and attention to detail. Furniture! If you decide to put chairs and sofas with fabric then clean them. It’s not a public transport… You run a caffe. It’s unhygienic and disgusting. Dust could be seen around sofas all over the place and it looked like it’s never been cleaned ever before. Not even mentioning about staining that looks like someone had a massive accident there! Staff were friendly and welcoming, but that’s not enough (whatever style of caffe is) when your hygiene standards left out the window.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. They went upstairs to check if there was a table available for me (as I had a baby and toddler in tow), even though it was very busy. They also very kindly served my food and drink even after the virtual debit card on my phone played up and I wouldn't have means to pay until my partner arrived sometime later with my wallet. There was no formal baby change but a member of staff went out of their way to unlock the co-working space (closed at the time) so we had somewhere private and spacious to change our son. I don't normally write reviews but I really felt this cafe deserved one.
