Attended a graduation ceremony and to be honest it was a bit bleak. The chairs were really dirty and I heard more than one person comment on that. The toilets were clean. The saving grace was the living wall outside which provided a lovely background for photos.

The best run Borough Council in London; decent hard working Councillors; very good staff. We have a sub par Mayor; a nonentity as Assembly Member, and a poorly performing MP. At least this place works!

I had an amazing experience with Adetola from the council. As a mother of two under two, I’ve spent almost two years going round in circles, but Adetola was incredibly kind, compassionate, and efficient. Within just a couple of hours, she helped me more than anyone else had. She explained everything clearly and with real care and understanding. Adetola Okunuga is a true credit to the council and an excellent example of what public service should be!

An incredibly kind and supportive experience I had my Freedom Pass assessment today for disability and was genuinely moved by how kind, respectful, and encouraging the staff member was. He treated me like a person, not a case — and made me feel truly seen. He was warm, professional, and made the entire process comfortable from beginning to end. At a time when many people with hidden or long-term conditions feel judged or misunderstood, this experience reminded me that there are still good people working in the system who genuinely care. He even sounded like I was an inspiration and reminded me of my own strength — something I don’t often hear. I’m very grateful for how I was treated and I left the meeting feeling deeply moved reassured and hopeful. Thank you for your support and kindness. I will never forget.
