Great castle! Plenty to walk around and explore, with very little that's fenced off. Great views from the top of the keep too. The area is beautiful with some great walks too.
Absolutely fantastic visit with my doggo. She was allowed everywhere and she must have sniffed that castle within an inch of its life. The staff were inviting and friendly.
What a great castle, partial ruin but but a huge amiunt to explore, loved seeing the in tact slots for the double portcullis.
A great well preserved semi ruin of a castle that gives you a good idea of living condiions. Well informed greeter Igon made it come alive.
A solo visit. Great castle, beautiful surroundings and a lovely little café with delicious cheese scones ( they do sweet ones too) straight out of the oven.
