We had a very comfortable stay, the breakfast which was a mixture of full English and continental, was pleasantly lovely 😄. The staff service was attentive, friendly and very accommodating when responding to our needs. Sonia who was the Duty Manager covering during our 2 mornings and check out was amazing, she was extremely friendly and went out of her way to assist where needed, it was obvious that she is a natural at providing high quality customer service. We will definitely choose The Milestone again and will recommend it to others. Hazel

I was charged £40 each for parking fines, even though I was a guest and had properly registered my car during my stay. No one has lifted a finger to cancel my fines since September 2025! On the phone, they tell you they'll react quickly, and then nothing happens when I send an email with all the supporting documents for the umpteenth time! If I have to wait as long as I wait for meals in the restaurant, I could be waiting another 10 years for a refund. It's a shame, because the location is ideal and the breakfast is good. Despite the rooms being very poorly soundproofed. This was my second visit to this hotel; I was planning to return in 2026, but I'll stay elsewhere given the incredible lack of communication and efficiency.

Room was spacious, clean and warm. We had an evening meal and drink in the restaurant which was really tasty, help yourself breakfast the next day was excellent, full English and continental and a great start to the day. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely visit again, very handy to break up a long journey just off the motorway.

Wow, has to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in anywhere. How they can say they have a "Restaurant" is laughable, the same microwavable meals turned out of the kitchen each night from a ridiculously small menu. Today the "Special" was Bangers & Mash, or should I say, left over sausages from breakfast served with grey slop ! Grim at best, frequent power cuts and an exceptionally rude duty manager ( short, foreign, blond ) obviously in completely the wrong job.
