My honest experience has been disappointing. The company draws customers in with attractive offers and introductory prices, only to significantly increase costs later. Once you're invested, it can feel as though your items are being held hostage, leaving you with little choice but to continue paying. I have also found their billing practices concerning, with repeated attempts to take payments and drain accounts for whatever amount they can recover. Customers should be very wary and carefully monitor their payments. What disappoints me most is the apparent lack of regard for loyal, long-term customers. Instead of valuing existing clients, the focus seems to be on attracting new ones. In fact, the company actively encourages new customers to leave reviews. If a business consistently provided excellent service, positive reviews would come naturally from satisfied customers without needing to ask for them. At the beginning, the service is friendly and welcoming while they are securing your business. Unfortunately, my experience suggests that this level of care does not continue once you have signed up.

The manager is horrible and rude. I have never met someone treat his fellow human so badly. The manager has always shown consistent rude behaviours during my visit to the facility which I have always overlooked. I have however watched in dismay when the manager not only verbally abused the user of the storage facilities but also instructed the member of staffs to always act same way imposing his authority as the manager to drive home his point. My last encounter with the manager was the last time I visited the facility as I could not stand the way he acted towards me and my colleagues. It was sincerely horrible. I also listened to my colleague voice note regarding their encounter and sincerely, if not curtailed, the manager will have a negative impact on customers review of the beautiful storage.

I have been a customer at Storage Giant Oldbury for some time and, unfortunately, my recent experiences with the site manager have left me feeling very disappointed. On 9 May 2026, while loading goods into my van shortly before closing time, I was approached by the manager and told that he expected me to finish by 6:00 pm as he would not remain on site beyond that time. During this interaction, I felt that the manner in which I was spoken to was unnecessarily confrontational and intimidating. While loading, a pallet became stuck inside my van, creating an unexpected delay. After securing my vehicle and moving it to a safe location, I returned to explain that I would need to come back the following day to complete the move. Despite my explanation, I felt that the conversation remained tense and unproductive, which added to an already stressful situation. This was not the first difficult interaction I had experienced. On a previous occasion, I asked to borrow a pallet truck and was initially told I could not use one, despite having previously been informed that pallet trucks were available to customers. The issue was later clarified by another member of staff, but I was left feeling that my request had been handled in a dismissive manner. Another incident occurred earlier on 10 May. Before leaving, my staff and I cleaned our work area and collected litter. When one of my employees attempted to place the rubbish in a site bin, she was told by the manager that customers were not allowed to use it. This was surprising, as we had always tried to leave the area tidy and had not encountered this issue before. On 20 May 2026, the manager went further to instruct his team not to give me access to anything ranging from the pallet truck to the lowest dustpan and brush. Upon realising my presence is going to cause a lot of discomfort towards Storage Giant team my hands were forced to request for total exit from the site. The facilities themselves have generally met my needs, and I have found other members of staff (Zip) to be helpful and professional. However, the repeated negative interactions with the manager have had a significant impact on my experience as a customer. Two members of my team who witnessed these incidents have since expressed reluctance about returning to the site because of concerns about further confrontations. I believe that customers should be treated with courtesy, consistency, and professionalism. Unfortunately, based on my experience, this has not always been the case. While the storage units themselves are satisfactory, the quality of customer service I received from management means I would struggle to recommend this location.
