Works Social in the Lace Market Nottingham provides contemporary coworking shared office and events space for independant workers and businesses alike with a cost effective, flexible hot-desk and meeting facilities in a fresh and inspiring environment that facilitates connections with others, builds communities of interest and acts as a go-to hub for sharing resources, ideas and talent.

On arrival, please ring the doorbell. The community manager will welcome you and show you to your allocated workspace. How to find us: We’re located just off High Pavement near St Marys Church - on foot, head through the gates of Commerce Square, bear left and we’re just beyond the corner of where Commerce Square meets Malin Hill - Look out for our yellow door - we’re no. 16. Some parking options are also included below in case helpful.

Parking FAQ:

We’re located in the heart of the Lace Market within a gated courtyard accessible only by foot so unfortunately we don’t have onsite parking (parking nearby is reserved for residents of Kings Court). However, there are various options for parking nearby including the Lace Market Car Park or Stoney Street NCP (although they are rather pricey 🤑). Many of our members park at one of the following which are £5 or under for All Day parking and just a short walk🚶‍♀️from Works Social 👍:

🚗 Pemberton Street: 🚗 RHParking: By using the app, parking is £5 for the day at Fletcher Gate Car Park as long as you arrive before 9:30 and leave before 18:30.

Even better, if you don’t live too far away, why not consider walking 🚶‍♀️or cycling 🚴 here. We have a shower onsite, safe bike storage and lockers available to assist you in making a healthy and environmentally sustainable commute part of your working day.

Amazing space to use! We booked a meeting room for two days, the team was super flexible and helpful when our needs changed, Evie was brilliant, and overall was a wonderful experience. Look forward to booking again!

Can be hard to find. Very limited parking so recommend parking elsewhere or taking the tram from a park & ride. No good for disabled people. The meeting I attended was in the loft space and I had to take a breather half way up the many stairs.

Works Social provides a vibrant and inspirational community for coworking and is a home for freelancers and small businesses, plus a great venue for business meetings, networking and social events too. Such a unique building, a fantastic way to meet like minded people and a creative, supportive space to grow. Love it. Would absolutely recommend :)

I booked the top floor studio for a team development morning and I have been very impressed with the whole experience. The booking process was efficient and all queries were answered quickly and professionally. We were greeted by Evie on reception who was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The room itself was perfect - stylishly curated to feel professional but comfortable with plenty of branded refreshments and meeting equipment. We will definitely use works social again and will be recommending this space and the event space downstairs to others.
