In a handy location between the city and the beaches, you’ve got the best of both Worlds at Village Hotel Newcastle. Newcastle city is a short drive away. And the beaches at Longsands and Whitley Bay are a short hop, skip and jump away. Of course, you can always be ‘canny’ and enjoy the famous Geordie hospitality without leaving the hotel. Enjoy a cool pool and huge gym, a buzzing Pub and Grill with great food, ice cold beers and big screen live sport, vibrant meeting spaces and Starbucks Coffee Shop
Please make your way to the main reception desk and let them know that you have booked a day pass or meeting room at VWorks through Upflex. If it's your first visit to the venue, please let our reception team know and a member of the sales team will be called to conduct a familiarisation tour and to assist with any requests or setup requirements such as WiFi.
You will be provided with an access key valid for that day, which will grant access through the main VWorks doors.
At any point during the visit, you can share your car registration with the main reception desk to be registered for complimentary parking for that day. Please note that without providing this information before you leave, you may be subject to parking fees.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Village Hotels.
-
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
-
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Village Hotels, who is more than happy to help out.
-
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
