Lina is great! 100% recommend armadillo storage - especially if you are a student.

Nice, clean storage units and lovely and tall so fitted a lot in. Most of the staff were also lovely. I wanted to warn people to take note of the opening times because these aren’t super long and they’re very strict about sticking to these. I know a lot of units are 24/7 and I hadn’t fully thought through the consequences of this one not being so too when I booked it. It was obviously my oversight but it proved very stressful using this one alongside work because of the opening times (I work some weekends too). Furthermore, one of the staff members made me cry on one day because I had had a very stressful and long day at work and had been running around the unit trying to finish on time for them closing. She confronted me at 5.40 (10mins post closing time) as I was leaving and said “what’s happening here then” in a nasty tone, to which I was shocked and explained that I was leaving. She continued to question whether there was anyone else with me and asked multiple times, despite me saying no from the start. I understand she was probably very stressed but I thought this was super rude, intimidating and completely out of order to treat me like this. Otherwise, the check out process went smoothly and they allow for a refund after 2 weeks of use + charge daily for anything over that so it was a very reasonable price. I just don’t know if I would use them again as for me, the opening times were a huge problem. Just worth considering before someone rents a space!

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Big Yellow.
