We were among the first tenants to sign up at this location and remained there for just over two years. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, which is a shame given the many positive years we had with the Chertsey branch.
The reception team, Mark and Alberta, have consistently been excellent. They are friendly, professional, and a genuine pleasure to deal with. This review is in no way a reflection of them or their efforts.
Senior management, however, present themselves as highly important yet seem largely absent when issues arise. Calls and requests for assistance are frequently ignored, and meaningful support is difficult to obtain.
On two separate occasions, Regus withdrew thousands of pounds from our bank account without notice. In both instances, the funds were not returned for weeks. Recovering this money required battling through a ticket-based “support” system that is clearly outsourced and wholly ineffective. The support team appeared indifferent and unhelpful. While the on-site reception staff tried their best to assist, their ability to resolve such issues is very limited.
Parking was another frustration. We were initially told that parking was free and allocated, only to be informed after moving in that it was actually first-come-first-served and charged at £50 per vehicle per month. Visitors are also charged daily for parking, despite the car park rarely being more than a quarter full. This is particularly awkward when welcoming clients to the office.
The internet connection is unreliable and unnecessarily restrictive. Devices constantly need reauthorising via the app, which quickly becomes tedious. If you plan to use your own printer, it must be hardwired. Wireless printing requires paying extra for a static IP address, and even then reliability is questionable. Alternatively, you must pay per page to use the Regus printer/scanner.
The office partitions are very flimsy, with paper-thin walls that allow noise to travel easily between offices. Despite this, Regus charges hundreds of pounds on exit for “redecoration.” They even employ a contractor based in Sheffield to repaint the walls rather than using a local company, which inevitably inflates the cost.
Overall, I would not recommend this location. There are significantly better and more cost-effective office options available in the area.
