Koba - 100 Barbirolli Square

I was recently in Manchester and spent a workday at Koba - 100 Barbirolli Square, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. It’s one of those places that makes you wonder why you’ve been working from home, or in my case, a hotel room for so long. It’s a bright, comfortable and thoughtfully designed workspace, with different setups depending on what you need. There are quiet areas for focused work, booths for calls and meetings, and more relaxed spaces when you want a change of scenery or simply need a break. I really liked that it doesn’t have the corporate feel you sometimes get with coworking spaces. There’s a relaxed atmosphere, and the team is great, very helpful and genuinely friendly. I had the feeling that a lot of thought has gone into creating a place where people actually enjoy spending their workday. On top of that, there are plenty of nice little touches, from unlimited tea and excellent coffee to snacks and cereal, plus a dedicated tech-free area if you need a proper break from the screen. As I was staying near Deansgate, Koba was conveniently located and really easy to get to. Overall, it’s a fantastic option if you want to get out of the house, have a productive day and work somewhere that feels a little more considered than the typical office. I’ll definitely be back.

Koba is great! The spaces are beautiful, the atmosphere is great for focus and the team (Sean) couldn’t do enough for you! Whether it’s a breakout area, office or meeting room, the design and space are thoughtful and would be a great base for a team no matter the size. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new base in Manchester

I had the pleasure of working from Koba recently as a change from my usual setup at home and in the office, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is easy to reach from Deansgate tram and bus stops, and the space strikes the perfect balance between being calm, welcoming and productive. I was given a full tour of the facilities by Sean and was really impressed with everything on offer. There are private booths for calls and meetings, excellent shared desk space for focused work, and even a tech-free seating area where you can take a moment away from the day-to-day and reset. The focus on sustainability throughout the space is another big plus. They offer unlimited tea/coffee, chilled water, and the complimentary cereal and snacks were a great touch (the fizzy cola bottles were a big hit!). The team were friendly, welcoming and happy to show me around all the amenities. A brilliant workspace with a genuine community feel. I look forward to working from Koba again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a flexible alternative to working from home or the office.

I visited Koba last week and I could not be more impressed with the space! As a usual work from home use having a co working space like Koba really made a massive difference to my day. The coffee was absolutely amazing and all the little touches like cereal in the morning and snacks in the afternoon really make a difference The space is also massive and has all the necessities you could ask for as well as being so clean and tidy at all times! Last but not least! Special out to the amazing staff working there who showed me around and were available to answer any questions at all time so lovely! Will definitely be coming back to Koba ♥️
