Imagine: as a traveller from abroad you arrive First time in Maidstone and on the next Day being close to M20 you would like to go for an early morning run in a decent part of Maidstone! And there is a very friendly receptionist giving perfect advice, even showing me where to take-off to follow the close by river. It was Aneta being a PERFECT ambassador for Village Ressort and Maidstome. Definitely a big discovery for us the Vlllage hotel group! Pls. Take care if this motivated staff.

Farah was super nice tonight, helped me out with a food order (my wife is vegetarian and she made it happen). Always smiling, always happy. Made our evening after a long day!

I travel from Canada twice per year and it is always great when I see Aneta at reception. She always is smiling and super helpful and gives me a warm welcome. This means a lot, especially after a 14 hour journey - thank you Aneta!

I can't comment on the hotel facilities, as we didn't stay there. We used the bar and restaurant. Our experience was generally good initially. We were extremely friendly and respectful of the staff, therefore, we were extremely disappointed at how we were treated over the bill. We went on a Friday. The menu states a free glass of fizz with fish and chips. And there was another sign on a blackboard that said there was £5 off a bottle of fizz, so we chose to go for the bottle. After we had paid our bill we noticed that the whole bottle had been discounted, not just £5. Being honest, we pointed this out to our male server, we could have just walked out. Oh my goodness the who har that developed as a result of the server insisting we were only entitled to a glass of fizz, despite it being written in black and white on their blackboard that a bottle is offered at a £5 discount was disgusting. We were being honest and wanting to do the right thing, but the male server was awful. He really let our experience down.

My partner and I visited the hotel this weekend for a friend's wedding and what a lovely hotel it is! We also stayed to watch the England game and the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. We visited the pool on both days of our stay, where we were looked after by Jodie, the lifeguard. She was so welcoming, showed us where everything was and even convinced me to try the ice bath! She really went above and beyond by spinning my swimming costume for me because the spinner in the ladies changing room wasn't working. A big thank you to Jodie for making our experience even more enjoyable. She is a real credit to the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
