Stayed here for friends wedding nearby. Rooms lovely, quiet. Very comfortable bed. Room smelt lovely on arrival. Staff were polite and everyone was helpful and friendly. Would happily stay here again. Parking was £10 which allowed us to park without worrying. Exceptional staff who went above and beyond. Most relaxing weekend I have had in a long time 10/10
Very Disappointing Stay – Not Worthy of 4 Stars I would not recommend Crowne Plaza Kingston, London Hotel. During my stay, the room had a damp smell, and water patches in the ceiling. The cleaning standards were appalling, with dirty towels left on the bathroom floor on three separate occasions. The bathroom sink and shower tray were also unclean, and the floors were neither vacuumed nor mopped. The hygiene standards were simply unacceptable. What made matters worse was the poor handling of complaints. Reception told me the manager had been informed, but I never received any response from management. This showed a disappointing lack of care, accountability, and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience gave me the impression that once payment has been received, guest satisfaction and service quality are no longer a priority.
The rooms are great. The restaurant and service however is something else. They seemingly never have any chefs on duty so the menu is never available. Staff are nice enough but somewhat hapless.
The rooms were clean, and the breakfast service was very good. The atmosphere was quiet and refreshing.
Thanks Crowne for a great stay. I know there’s some mixed reviews but my stay was great. Clean rooms, super friendly staff who were all excellent. I left some items in the room and they were very kind to keep secure and return them back to me. Bar staff great as well. Only thing to improve would be the WiFi. Maybe it’s just me but it was really weak in the room. Hope they can update that because everything else was excellent.
