Such loud music makes it impossible to talk and they have tiny mugs for a small coffee or a glass for bigger ones?

As a regular customer of both Story locations, there’s a special place in my heart for their Wandsworth Town venue. The vibe is impeccable, lively, vibrant but relaxed. Amazing food, even more amazing coffee. Sof and his crew have done a wonderful job building this oasis amidst all the madness.

The staff in the Wandsworth shop refused to let me sit on ‘reserved’ tables near the front door because it was for people that buy brunch. I had bought a focaccia and flat white to dine in which in any other coffee shop would constitute ‘brunch’. It’s a ridiculous rule and frankly likely to make me slag off Story coffee as pretentious and overpriced to anyone I know.

Double standard Before the our drinks arrived attempted to move from a shared table to a two sitters as soon as it’s vacant. Told it was a table for people have brunch only.we Moved back immediately. Just to realised a couple including a white man sat there after us for at least 30 mins with no food! The double standard is astonishing ! Confronted with the waitress lady, met with an awkward glance. No response! The rudeness stunned me again!
