Choosing a wedding venue is arguably the most monumental decision you have to make (aside from deciding who you're actually marrying!). We knew we wanted a London wedding, but we had some incredibly strict red lines: we needed a venue where the actual ceremony could take place, a late licence, excellent transport links, exclusive use of the space, and a distinct urban party vibe. After whittling down a spreadsheet of nearly a hundred potential venues based on budget and availability, Kindred was sitting firmly at the top of our wishlist. However, looking at the gorgeous photos and the calibre of the food, we honestly assumed it would be completely out of our price range. We were absolutely shocked when we visited and realised what exceptional value for money it truly is, and how perfectly it fit our numbers. From the very first moment we sat down to look at quotes, we knew we’d found our venue. The team at Kindred are wonderfully warm, hospitable, and genuine people. Throughout the entire planning process, our coordinator, Charles, was an absolute godsend. He walked us through every single logistical element with total transparency, helping us navigate things we hadn't even considered. It always came from a place of genuine warmth—you could tell Charles’s sole priority was ensuring we had the best day of our lives, rather than doing what was merely convenient for the venue. On the day itself, Charles was on hand from start to finish, keeping everything running flawlessly. The speed and efficiency with which the team rearranged the rooms and handled every transition was nothing short of incredible. So many of our guests have since commented on what a spectacular hidden gem Kindred is in the heart of Hammersmith—it provided the perfect contemporary, urban chic, yet timeless backdrop for our wedding. And then, there is the food. It was absolutely brilliant. The tasting day ahead of the wedding—where we sat down to sample the menus and discuss the wine pairings—was a massive highlight for us, and it was the exact moment we knew with total certainty that we had chosen the right place. The quality of the catering is outstanding and uniquely curated; it feels like a high-end restaurant experience rather than the standard, average fare you so often get at weddings. We cannot recommend Kindred highly enough to anyone looking for the ultimate London venue. It never let us down for a single second and will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Really fantastic service from Nitesh, Berk, Minel and Rabin tonight. Fantastic delicious food as per usual, with incredible food and vegetarian options. Cocktails are some of the best in London too! Very much recommend the carbonara pizzeria, and the banana bread cocktail!

Kindred is such a beautifully stylish venue and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I had the pleasure in photographing a wedding here a few weeks ago. My clients just had their welcome drinks, ceremony and then drinks reception here before heading off elsewhere for dinner. The decor colours of the bar area in contrast to the subtle greens and book colours in the library made the whole wedding so sophisticated and modern. Kindred is right opposite public transport too so super easy to get to. A fabulous London venue right in the heart of Hammersmith for any event/ party / wedding - I would definitely recommend this to my future clients. x
