Used to be a weirdly peaceful little corner of east London where you could stop for a time-out atbthe diner with a riverview. Diner gone. Now ruined by the usual London money shower. Good bakery on the approach.

Went back to Trinity Buoy Wharf lighthouse ( and environs) as it's open at the weekends. It houses the Longest Running music ( sound) which never repeats and is aiming to sound for 1000 years ( began in 2000).

It was an interesting place and the cafe was good and reasonably priced . Disappointed that the lighthouse only open at weekends.

I want to alert future visitors to Trinity Buoy Wharf - if you go by public transport, the easiest and best way is to take Superloop 4 and get off at Leamouth/Orchard Place stop. Then, you're just 3 min walk away and you can see directional signage for the site. Otherwise, it'll be so challenging to find your way having to cross flyovers and roundabouts. It's place worth visiting, like a breath of fresh air (literally and metaphorically).
