I had 2 years of membership a couple of years ago, then got injured fixed myself up, and came back all twinkle toes excited and bought a 6 month pass; things have changed. Excellent climbing space, comp wall is fantastic, amazing amount of climbs, only personal gripe is that it theres a lean towards powerful dynamic moves, a bit more challenging static would be good, but hey thars yonder its known for being tough. The new highwall with crash mat is stonking. Great gym/warm up area. Fantastic new shop layout, choice of shoes and clothes, great merch too. So things that have changed/could do with some attention. Changing areas are kinda grim; stinky toilets, hand drier full of drip gloop stuff, one changing cubicle you can move the partition which means the lock doesnt work/fails, lockers are super dusty inside (old dust not just chalk dust) New cafe is a great addition, but super pricey... and then theres an eat in charge for cakes/pastries which is crazy considering your choice of seats are outside next to a road, bins and bikes, and that charge also isnt fixed, it depends what type of snack you get. Staff, all pretty much the same people who were there before, nice guys if youre in the right crowd. But sorry to say it, theres a real cba/playing on phones/unfriendly vibe on entering, leaving and asking questions. Thats been consistent for the 6 months i returned, and this is nothing against the staff themselves, when allowed to do so, these issues worse and worse. This is more of a nudge at the managers/owners; the basics, hi how are you, thanks for coming. Again, nothing on the staff themselves, its a management issue. Just have to shout out to Ash, although ive never had lessons with him or anything like that, i always see him being one of the most consistently encouraging, engaging, friendly and knowledgable guys there, hes not changed at all. Dudes a hero, goes that extra little bit. Always fistbumping everyone, asking how peoples climbs are going, engaging with younger climbers excellently. Anyway, apologies for the review, its been good, but its time for a differemt gym.

It’s a very nice gym. A little out of the way for me but interesting holds and setting. Feels commercial even thought it isn’t maybe just due to the size. Good mix of people and very inclusive

Definitely my favourite place to injure myself every week

Reasonable route level, lovely and cute climbing gym, and got a slide when you climb up to the top, which is my favourite one!

Amazing setting, good facilities, and the best staff like AJ and Ashton, definitely one of the best gyms in London!
4 Hooker's Road has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Yonder.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Yonder, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
