Found "Blighty' by chance while in the area. Blackstock road can be overwhelming and chaotic, but I found tranquility on their lovely urban roof top 'garden'. I ordered the The Finsbury and was informed there were no poached eggs, so I opted for scrambled. They were kind enough to swap out bacon for salmon. Food is freshly made so there is a little wait time. It gave me chance to sip on my Oat flat white and enjoy the quirky surroundings. As it was BH carnival weekend, it was quiet. However, I expect that wkends and match days can get really busy. Service was friendly and welcoming. Worth another visit when i'm in the area again.

When you visit this local gem be sure to visit the roof garden seating area. Father and son are the most welcoming patrons and serve a wonderful selection of snacks and drinks. Try a fresh chilled smoothie on a hot summer day. I'm just saying 😇
