The hotel is well located next to Paddington station which makes travel to and from the airport convenient whether it is the underground or express train. Subjected to space availability - being able to store luggage after checkout and before travelling to the airport, especially if you have a tight schedule is another convenience. Staff were very helpful is that is definitely another plus point

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. My flight arrived early in the morning, so I reached the hotel around 9 AM and politely asked if early check-in was possible. The staff told me the hotel was very busy, asked me to leave my luggage, and said I could check again around 2 PM. I had been traveling overnight without any sleep for almost 24 hours, so I was already exhausted. Still, I went out to wait and returned around 2 PM as instructed. However, the staff again said the hotel was busy and told me to wait until 3 PM, the official check-in time. What made the situation worse was that, close to 3 PM, I started seeing many other guests arriving and successfully checking in while I was still sitting directly in front of the reception desk waiting. At first, I assumed they may have booked different room types, but as more and more people checked in while nobody updated me at all, it became very frustrating and upsetting. Eventually, I had to approach the staff again and explain that I was physically exhausted and willing to take any available room just to finally rest. Only then was I informed that the hotel had been overbooked and that I would need to move to another hotel. Honestly, if the hotel was overbooked, they should have known this from the beginning and informed me immediately instead of making me wait from 9 AM until around 3:30 PM with no clear communication. The lack of transparency, organization, and basic care for exhausted guests was unacceptable. The issue was not only the overbooking itself, but how poorly the situation was handled. Better communication and honesty from the start would have made a huge difference.
