Abdul, the handsome receptionist on duty today, was very kind and patient. And our hotel's best security guard too. A truly excellent team. They helped us a lot today. We always stay at this hotel when we come to London; it's definitely worth it!

Good Hotel and good location, Staff are Friendly and very polite who are willing to go to the extra miles. The hotel staff that attends to us are Claudius, Abdul, Zakaria and one the lady and not forgetting one more guy whom I'm unable to get his name, All ur staff are and asset to ur company. Will definite stay here again for our upcoming trip in Dec 2026. From the Happy Singapore Family❤️

Mercure dropped the ball in a major way by failing to notify me at time of reservation or in the weeks following that the hotel was under major renovation. In fact the hotel was completed wrapped in plastic so we had no window view, workmen on the scaffolding outside our “window” which was noisy and gave us no privacy. Imagine taking a morning shower with a workman on a scaffold on the other side of the bathroom window. And - with the exception of one staff person who seemed to understand why I was less than pleased - the staff was to say the least indifferent. Oh and did I mention the breakfast restaurant that was 5 minutes away during a London cold spell. Again - being advised of this situation at time of booking was the minimum expectation. Is this the Mercure experience I was expecting and paid a high price for?
