I tried the classic vanilla Chinese sponge cake at Chinatown. The cake was soft and fluffy, and the vanilla flavor was successful. It just wasn't surprisingly different in terms of taste, so I deducted one point.

This is a lovely, cozy little Japanese bakery with a huge and impressive variety of baked goods. Everything looks delicious and fresh. I picked up a couple of items, including a bread roll and a slice of their sponge cake. So far, I’ve only tried the sponge cake, and it is absolutely outstanding—so light, fluffy, and delicious! Highly recommend stopping by.
