It's OK and better than Manchester. Might be lovely when it's finished! It is let down by the lack of pedestrian crossings and unlit pathways round the terminal. As if no-one ever stays in the Travelodge over the road or eats at the Harvester pub? Or walks?The airport is totally lacking in onsite facilities.

Leeds Bradford Airport was a deeply disappointing experience. The check-in area was freezing — about 10°C in December — with no seating and cold wind blowing through the lobby. We even saw mice on the floor while three staff members chased one with a trash bin, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. Before security, there are no proper toilets, only improvised container units. Real bathrooms exist only after security. The duty-free is split into two sections with zero signage, so first-time travelers won’t even know the second one exists, and both are equally crowded. Overall, the airport feels poorly managed and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend it unless the alternative is walking to your destination in winter without clothes. I’ll be filing a complaint about the conditions.

Small but efficient airport. Long trek though to gates 11 and 12. There's a lot more in the way of shops and bars once you follow the signs through to the gates.

Frankly you couldn't ask for a worse arrival experience than here. Everything up to getting outside is fine wanting to go anywhere, in anything, at anytime, is frankly a joke. Free zone pickup, no free zone, £7 just to enter, a taxi mafia, crap busses, no rail, no swift trip to Leeds city. If Leeds ever wants to be a destination city, it needs to grow up and get serious about this.
