#hull #business I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to the C4DI building. Unfortunately, I had some experiences that left me feeling rather unwelcome. I attended an art morning group that was functioning and showed my artwork and two gallery projects exhibited at the Brooke Street Gallery in Hull. However, I felt unwelcome and which was quite disheartening. Wanted to stay but I felt the atmosphere was of towards me. Additionally, while exploring the C4DI building and inquiring about virtual offices, I found the staff to be helpful initially. However, towards the end, I felt more unwelcome than welcomed. When I asked for information about virtual offices, I was simply directed to go online without receiving any visual materials like leaflets or brochures. This was disappointing, especially considering it was an open day, and I did not get the information I was looking for, being neurodivergent made it really difficult. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention in the hope that improvements can be made to ensure all visitors feel welcomed and supported. Thank you for your understanding.

C4DI is a standout tech hub that fosters genuine community, collaboration, and innovation. Every visit is met with a warm welcome—Tina, Lindsey and the front-of-house team in particular bring an energy and professionalism that set the tone for the entire space. The events are consistently well-organised and attract a high calibre of attendees, making them ideal for both learning and networking (even for those who typically shy away from it). What really sets C4DI apart is the sense of shared purpose: whether you're hosting a workshop, seeking support as a startup, or just looking for a productive base, the environment is both supportive and energising. A real asset to Hull’s tech ecosystem.

Yet another well organised event. It is always a pleasure to deliver workshops into the C4DI community. There are always such great people to engage with and my session today: 'networking for people that don't like networking' went better than I dared hope for. If you are looking for a base to work from then C4DI has to be one of the most 'cooperative' in the Humberside region. The help from Tina and Linsey for today was first class and it ensured the turn out was high. Great to meet old and new members. If you are looking to attend an event or run one C4DI is well worth a look. Bob

C4DI has created some very successful businesses. The success of these businesses couldn't have done it without the creative talents of people who really understand tech, their knowledge has been truly valuable in the past to these growing businesses. Plus with the help and organisation skills of the front desk girls, events that have taken place have been a great bonus to bringing the community of the C4DI together.
While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions.
