The staff were really friendly. Room was freezing and took 3 hours to warm up with a little radiator in the corner. Tap was too powerful and drenched me every time. Walls thin and you can hear doors slam. Fair price and free parking Breakfast wasnt anything spectacular - sausage, scrambled egg, beans, mushroom, fried bread, bacon. Overall - perfect if flying out from east Midlands or 1 night for business. Not somewhere you would stay as a couple for a nice weekend away
Spent money on a room for 1 night 21st 10. 26 Room 214 wow what a room ,went in to the smell of damp. Carpet was filthy, bedside lights didnt work . Switched on the left light resulting in a flash . No wonder power socket was away from the wall . Ok we will try over mirror light again not working. Bathroom smells of urine ,pubic hair in the basin and toilet. And whoever the person, was that sealed the floor. Must have been with one eye closed . Bottom of shower curtain very dirty and disgusting. Shower glass at the bottom caked with limescale. What was on the tiles god only knows. Under the sink ,3 star nah more like minus 3 star. Grouting all over filthy also . Also checking in i said I would like to cancel the parking . What parking it was never booked. Good job my daughter took us over . Told the lad in the morning ok I will pass it on . Avoid Avoid Avoid Might go for compensation when we return. .
This was ideal for what we needed, great price, clean, cosy, friendly staff, comfy bed and great location. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!
