Stayed here for work and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. On the first morning, breakfast was not ready after 7:00 AM even though that is the advertised breakfast start time. I understand accidents happen, and later the hotel explained there had been a serious staff incident on the way to work, which is understandable. However, the following morning the same problem happened again — breakfast was still being prepared after 7:00 AM and I had to leave for work without eating. The croissants and pastries also tasted stale both mornings. The hotel itself is old, which I can accept, but basic standards should still be maintained, especially in the kitchen and dining service. The bathroom condition was also poor. One of the floor tiles came loose and stuck to my foot while using the bathroom. Location is convenient, but overall the stay did not meet the standard I expected for a business trip.

The bedroom and bathroom floors, sheets and towels were clean. The shower was good but a little more care when cleaning the outside of the toilet was needed. The bed was comfortable but there are not enough electric sockets. The sockets on the base of the bedside lights only worked when you had the lights switched on. The restaurant wasn't serving food due to an apparent event but were still serving food to other people in the restaurant. We were advised to order from Just Eat. Other than that the hotel was easy to find with lots of parking.

I attended a wedding reception here and had an absolutely wonderful time. Travelling was easy, as the location is very close to the M1, which made the journey convenient. The surroundings are beautiful, with some lovely walks around the hotel, and the venue itself was fantastic. The large downstairs space was perfect, offering plenty of room for dancing, dining, and even a dedicated area for children. There was also a separate reception room near the entrance, with comfortable seating areas that provided a nice change of atmosphere from the main venue. We stayed overnight and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were peaceful, the bedding was comfortable, and we were treated to a delicious breakfast in the morning. Thank you for such a great experience.

I recently visited this hotel and had a lovely experience. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location just off the motorway was really convenient.
