Cheap overnight stay on the way down the country. Ideally located just off the M1. Rooms were really comfortable and clean. Ideal cheap stay

Friendly staffs and tasty food. We stayed here for one night for the next morning flight. Our room got upgraded 😊
Stayed here for work and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. On the first morning, breakfast was not ready after 7:00 AM even though that is the advertised breakfast start time. I understand accidents happen, and later the hotel explained there had been a serious staff incident on the way to work, which is understandable. However, the following morning the same problem happened again — breakfast was still being prepared after 7:00 AM and I had to leave for work without eating. The croissants and pastries also tasted stale both mornings. The hotel itself is old, which I can accept, but basic standards should still be maintained, especially in the kitchen and dining service. The bathroom condition was also poor. One of the floor tiles came loose and stuck to my foot while using the bathroom. Location is convenient, but overall the stay did not meet the standard I expected for a business trip.
