A small airport with only four flights a day. There are no car rentals at this airport, but there is a taxi center. Security is very thorough and can take a while. There's a duty-free shop with some electronics, drinks, perfume, jewelry, sunglasses, sweets, and children's toys. A lounge with playfully arranged sofas creates a pleasant atmosphere. Your plane is literally parked right outside your door.

Small airport but ideal for flights to Amsterdam. Car park is a 2 minute walk to check in. Then a few paces you are in security. Then a few more paces in departure lounge. Lots of seating, bar, Costa coffee machine.

HUY is the best small airport, simple functional layout, helpful staff, thorough security, duty free and a cafe airside that is stocked with essentials and is not the usual rip-off airport prices. Always a pleasure to use. Well served by KLM to Schipol the world's gateway!

First time flying from here and really impressed by it, all the staff there were really friendly, including the border force we came across. Will definitely be going out of my way to fly from there now I know it exists. The toilets are very clean and well maintained. Plenty of seating in departures and on arrival you're greeted with a smile by ground staff, processed quickly in a friendly way. The lovely lady who processed me through was particularly friendly and funny. Baggage is offloaded and on the carrousel much faster than in the larger airports.
