Love it! Recommend the brewery tour. Great mix of old tradition with modern upgrades.

An amazing time capsule, a true Victorian gem that is well worth a visit. There are guided tours (book in advance). Today this was done by James who was most informative and amusing. The tour lasts up to two hours, you must be fit and able to ascend and descend several steep staircases. We have done brewery tours in Amsterdam and Toronto - the Hook Norton tour outclassed them both, comfortably. There is an excellent on site restaurant which we recommend visiting after the brewery tour. All in all a super day out (with free samples of the products), in a lovely part of England.

Booked last minute and they fitted us in. A very informative and enjoyable tour; guide James was both very personable and knowledgeable. He's only been a guide for a short time but he's a natural; he is a very intelligent and funny guy who absolutely enhanced our experience today! It's an amazing brewery, stepped on history, with an extremely engaging story and you should come and hear it (thanks again, James)! The buildings have been preserved for our enjoyment as have the beer production processes as much as possible (including shire horse beer delivery). And as I was writing this (from the restaurant where we chose to have another pint), cellar manager Philipp came to offer us tasters of any beers we didn't get to try on the tour! It doesn't get much better. Management, if you see this, know that every other member of our tour were also singing the praises of James and the tour. Thank you for a great afternoon .

My daughter had bought tickets for a birthday present for me for a guided tour of the brewery, Leon our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny and made the tour so interesting. We had lunch there which was excellent. I would highly recommend it.
