I have been a licensee here for many years. Over this time I have witnessed many changes to both the working areas and the company business model. The center staff are always superb and do everything they can to help you and make you feel welcome. The facilities in general are good, though certain areas (especially the toilets) are quite dirty and look unmaintained. Car parking is better nowadays and, long term, not as expensive as you'd think. Currently not a place I'd advise for short term or start up businesses due to the unavoidable and high 'put back fees'. I would have given 5 stars overall but, to be blunt, there needs to be an overhaul of the site and the overall business model to tick the final box.

Been renting a unit here at Basepoint High Wycombe for just over a year now. Sure, the centre has had its ups and downs with maintenance over this time period but where hasn't? The team running the show on site have always been fantastic, helpful and informative and deserve a lot of credit for their efforts. With the right support from above them, they could really build something. Public areas are kept clean and tidy so never had any complaints there. If we've ever had any issue with our unit it has always been resolved promptly with a smile.

We’ve rented at two Basepoint centres and this has easily been the best experience. Kai and Lauryn have been instrumental in creating a friendly, community-centred atmosphere that makes working here a real pleasure. Any issues have been resolved swiftly and our initial requirements were fully met, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

I am writing this review as a doctor and founder of a health-tech startup to express my deep disappointment with the service and conduct of Basepoint Business Centres. I took out an office with Basepoint nearly a year ago and have faced a relentless series of problems ever since. The entire setup is ill-suited for any professional – especially for someone trying to build a high-functioning, responsive, and innovative company. From day one, the structure of Basepoint has proven to be not only outdated but actively obstructive. Communication is fragmented and disjointed – reception staff onsite have no ability to coordinate with the overseas accounts team (based in Philippines or elsewhere in the Far East). They routinely deflect issues and redirect you to their online portal – a portal which is difficult to access, non-intuitive, and has now locked me out completely. The requirement to resolve all queries solely via this failing system is unacceptable for any modern business. Worse still, there are multiple hidden fees and unclear contract terms that were not made transparent at the point of signing. When I challenged these and attempted to resolve a contractual issue last year – an issue entirely due to their internal error – I spent over three months chasing for resolution, with no progress. Despite persistent follow-up, the matter was never properly resolved. Since then, I have been locked out of my office three times, including once for several months. As it stands, I remain locked out of the premises with my company’s property still inside. I have repeatedly requested that my contract be terminated and access formally closed. Two months on, Basepoint continues to insist that I “log into the portal” to action this – a portal I cannot access. The entire arrangement is a bureaucratic dead end. Eventually, I had no choice but to cut my losses and move to a new facility just a stone’s throw away. The difference has been night and day: transparent billing, direct access to human support, efficient communication, and genuine service. I’ve included the details of another local superior provider for anyone considering Basepoint – avoid the headache. Try [Hub Space - Lancaster Road!!] Basepoint’s business model is not just flawed – it is fundamentally misaligned with the needs of any serious business owner. It may suffice for short-term or low-complexity use, but any professional should be extremely cautious. You must watch every invoice, check every charge, and prepare to fight for even basic service. For these reasons, I give Basepoint a firm zero rating. I previously sought to resolve my concerns informally, but given the severity and ongoing nature of the issues – including lack of access to my own leased office and property – I will now be escalating this matter to the appropriate ombudsman.
