Lovely place, great views of rolling countryside. A place tge kids can play and a great selection of food and drinks. Great events including music and food trucks. Love this place.
So the coffee raised my eyebrows because it was expensive and was lukewarm warm and served in a cup with no saucer. The main area some tables hadn’t been cleared and those that were were not wiped and had food remnants left. Since it’s kinda outside stuff had blown off the tables onto the floor and not picked up so it gave the impression of not being clean. If you charge premium prices then you need to give premium clean environment. The most entertaining thing was the two mums on the next table who were besides themselves that they had to pay £18 for three yogurts for their kids.
Disorganised chaos. Queue of only 10 people took 30 mins to get to till. Cake and muffin stale and dry/crumbly. Wouldn’t let me buy a salad even though they were on display - as it wasn’t 11am yet. People were leaving the queue as soon as frustrated that despite 4 staff behind counter the queue was not moving. If you’re the owner and wondering why you are not making much money go spend some time in the cafe.
Nice place to visit, sun or rain. Different places to sit for coffee or a panini. Lovely outlook. Friendly staff, service good if sometimes a little slow.
Was there for a workd due so not sure what it's normally like. But enjoyed the event, food trucks were great. A basic but good selection of alcohol and peaceful setting.
