Fantastic onboarding, lots of proactive support and run great business connection events.
The Affable Partnership Ltd is a specialist consultancy in employment law, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and HR strategy. We joined the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce (HCC) in early April 2026 with a clear objective: to connect with its network of approximately 700 businesses and expand our client base. From our very first interaction, the HCC team made a strong impression. The onboarding process was seamless, and the support we received, from our initial conversation with Membership Manager Jack Goodman, through to the New Joiners Briefing led by Joe Bland, ensured we could maximise the benefits of our Aspire Membership from the outset. Our profile was set up quickly and professionally, giving us immediate visibility within the network. What really sets HCC apart is the quality and variety of its events. From Business Breakfasts to Chamber Connects, the structure and facilitation make it easy to engage with a wide range of businesses in a short space of time. These events are not just well attended, they are purposeful, well organised, and commercially valuable. A particular highlight for us was the CEO Dinner held in June, where our Founder, Laura Tutt, had the opportunity to speak as a keynote. This provided direct access to senior decision-makers and fellow founders, significantly raising our profile within the business community. The HCC team consistently goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and professional environment. Their ability to bring members together, support their growth, and deliver high-quality experiences is outstanding. Our advice to any business considering joining is simple: get involved. The opportunities are there, and with the support of the HCC team, the return on this engagement can be significant.
Have just completed my first carnet registration. The process is utterly baffling on your first attempt and I am pleased to acknowledge the Chamber's help. The team responded quickly and comprehensively to my initial enquiry and then proactively helped us to navigate the nuances of the documentation and requirements. At all times, the communications were friendly and informative and we felt really well supported.
