Wow! On a visit in Bishops Stortford from San Francisco, CA and needed a solid work space for focus, but also enjoy community. Google searched "coworking space Bishops Stortford" and found this gem! Booking online was easy. I walked from the city center to this lovely place and was just wow'd from the exterior to then being greeted by Karen, who is absolutely lovely. I chose a desk by the window and delighted in the coffee and cake! Space was quiet enough, but also had enough energy to keep productive flow. The whole Residence co-working space is so welcoming! I would absolutely co-work here again!

I am so grateful to have found The Residence Coworking. It is more than just hot desks and free coffee.. it is community, purpose, and inspiration. Having rented office space for 12 years I suddenly found myself working on my own - the central base of operations for my now remote team. We were able to offer this flexibility before COVID - but it became a permanent and highly valued benefit to our staff afterward. But what this meant for me as a business owner was a lonely workplace, a loss of connection and paying rent for an often empty office. The work-life balance for my staff was way more important to me as it was a core value of my business. So I started to look for other options. Thanks to my colleague who was having lunch nearby - I booked in a visit with Karen Tait and almost 3 years later I have not looked back. I have a dedicated desk, beautiful countryside views, a place for my clients and colleagues (don't forget their dogs) to pop in with free parking and lovely meeting spaces. I get a welcome hello in the mornings, the support of like minded business owners, amazing networking opportunities - and I have Co-Workers. Best business decision I have made in a long time!
