Fantastic studio space and community. The spaces are well set up and run, and we have really enjoyed our time here.

As a web developer, working from Playground has transformed my work life over the past couple of years. The difference between working from home and being part of this creative community is huge - there's nothing better than sharing a cup of tea and bouncing ideas around with fellow freelancers and small business owners. The space has definitely helped my business grow. Living in Totnes, the location of Playground has been great. Sometimes I drive, sometimes I cycle in along the lovely path between Totnes and Dartington, occasionally I walk. When I’m feeling extra brave I have a dip in the Dart at the weir on the way home. In the summer, having Meadowbrook community centre so close is great for a beer with people from the studio and other mates. Ollie and Rosie, who run Playground and the print studio downstairs, have created something really great here. They're very much part of the community themselves. If you're looking for a friendly, creative workspace in the South Hams, you won't find better than this.
Webbers Yard has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Playground Workspace.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Playground Workspace, who is more than happy to help out.
