Visited for lunch today and was very disappointed. I had to send my dinner back, I had beef. It was very undercooked and more fat than meat. The cauliflower cheese was watery and Yorkshire puddings were cold. It takes a lot for me to complain about a meal, I usually eat what I can or leave it but today I felt I could not do that. When I sent it back it was changed immediately and the waitress asked if I wanted my beef well cooked. Service was great but we have been there a few times but I doubt we will return especially as we had to pay in full, with an added service charge. Some compensation should of been offered considering the amount of food left on all our plates. Sopers House, you need to do better!

Came here for dinner with friends. I ordered the steak, which was about the size of the palm of my hand and was served with only a small portion of chips. It looked more like a starter than a main course. The service was disappointing. The young male waiter seemed uninterested and lacked basic customer service skills. Drinks took an extremely long time to arrive, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly busy. Overall, it was not a positive experience. While the food itself was of an acceptable standard, the portions were far too small and the service left much to be desired.

It was a wonderful lunch, the food was delicious. A very high quality meal for a reasonable price. The waiter, Jasper, was super kind and took great care of us. I recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely come back there, especially for the charming terrace, perfect on a sunny day.
