16 years as a Regus customer – an extremely disappointing way to end the relationship after paying them around £1 million. Their service has deteriorated dramatically while prices have continued to rise. Regus decided to close our building and relocate us to this Mosaic East building. The move was extremely poorly managed. Our replacement offices weren't ready, our staff effectively lost a week of office use, there were no keys ready, our equipment was piled into one office while another was left empty, our server was disconnected incorrectly despite clear instructions, some items disappeared, and the promised parking didn't materialise. Our previous large office with an adjoining smaller meeting room and internal connecting door was replaced with two separate offices with no internal access between them. Despite Regus choosing to close our building and causing all this disruption, they have refused to allow us to leave our agreement early and refused to allow us to downsize. We are therefore stuck paying them until February 2027 for offices we no longer want or need. They also discreetly extended our contract term by 6 months during this switch. I find the complete lack of commercial flexibility astonishing. My advice to any business considering Regus: read the termination and renewal provisions extremely carefully and understand exactly how much flexibility you really have before signing. Our experience has been that when we actually needed that flexibility, there was none. A very disappointing end to a 16-year relationship.
