I hire out Matthews Yard Event Space for my Networking Meetups and it’s the ideal space for our events. The owner is super friendly and greets us with a warm welcome every time, and the coffees/teas and cakes are delicious. The layout and decor of the space is brilliant, and there’s a really great vibe to the whole place. I’ve had glowing feedback from my attendees about the space, and we love having our meetups here. We’re so lucky to have a space like this in our community.

Love it here. I've been a co-working member since December last year, and a long time visitor for coffee in Matthews Yard's various locations and iterations over the years. It's one of a few diamond spots in Croydon - run by genuine and nice people, used by friendly interesting folk, providing an affordable and welcoming space to work from, or meet friends, or get a quiet coffee. FYI, it's best to check socials/ drop them a message to see when the venue is open to the public.

I've been a member at Matthews Yard for a month and have already upgraded from the part time to full time membership. For me as someone who has just started their own company its the perfect place to work with friendly people and a variety of rooms with different setups that I can focus and get stuff done. I've found all members to be super respectful of each other and welcoming. Its also great that I can keep my bike within the building on the days I ride in. All the facilities are well maintained and clean which was really important for me. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxed place to work.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Matthews Yard.
