Reviews
Needed a bolt hole to work for the day whilst in Crediton and this place was perfect! Gorgeous little book store front right on the highstreet. Upstairs is a clean, open and cooled workspace, with easy access to WiFi, charging points, tea and coffee if needed, and plenty space to work and have meetings comfortably also. The high street is full of lovely local cafés and a great selection of places to eat for lunch too. Would highly recommend if you need to get some work done whilst travelling.
A lovely bookshop. You can get a range of books here for all ages. Also beautiful little notepads. Staff are super friendly too
amazing community owned bookshop, with a wicked selection for children. always doing lots of events too, and are always very lovely people. highly recommend!
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.
-
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
-
The Work Hub operates during regular business hours, which are listed above. For any requests or requirements outside of these hours, please contact the coworking operator directly.

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Bookery, who is more than happy to help out.

Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
