Stayed at The George for a Sunday night accompanied by our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. It was our second stay and just as good as our first. Ben and the team made us and our dog so welcome for a second time. Really like the atmosphere and how engaged the team seem. Love the fruit and water in reception on arrival. Location is excellent with all the best shops about five minutes walk away. The room was lovely. Would recommend booking direct with hotel - better for them and you will get a later check out and also an upgrade if available. Parking at the hotel is limited (around the back) but free of charge. If all the spaces are taken, there is a pay cark park nearby. Breakfast is super good - either continental or a la carte cooked to order, so if you want a cooked breakfast, you would not be disappointed. Also great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Room was lovely. Was advised edgy was a smaller room, but plenty of space with a desk and wardrobe. Great shower. Perfect location for a night out in Cheltenham

We had a very pleasant stay at The George as a hub for visiting the Cotswolds. We did not choose the smallest rooms and were happy with our choice. Breakfast was good, and we also had a hot breakfast by booking directly with them, which we recommend. The service at reception was very friendly and helpful. We missed some shelves in the wardrobe and bathroom, but otherwise, absolutely no complaints.

The George Hotel is a really fantastic place to stay. The rooms were large and really lovely and the check in staff are very friendly and helpful. The little touches in the room such as the books, the fresh milk and the complimentary biscuits were something we really appreciated. It was very hot when we stayed but the excellent air conditioning kept us at the perfect temperature. We have stayed in other hotels in Cheltenham in the past but none have been as good at The George Hotel. We recommend you stay here too. Oh, and we accidentally left something behind us and they have been incredibly helpful in helping us to get our item back to us....

The hotel was lovely, we had one of the cheaper rooms and it was lovely. The bed was comfortable, and there was a table and chair in the room which is useful. The bathroom, specifically the shower was lovely, and the provided products (shampoo, conditioner etc) smelt so good. Breakfast was tasty. There is no fridge in the room, so if you need to keep anything refrigerated you'll want to talk to them first to see if there's anything they can do to help. But other than that a brilliant hotel close to town
