An all round fabulous venue! Patch Chelmsford has a contemporary and slightly industrial feel with original features revealed throughout the building and a very creative edge to its interior design and furnishings. The Hive Artists Studios recently hired all of the ground floor spaces for our annual Hive Zine Fair. Katie was super helpful and even matched us with the caterer ‘Parlour’ which proved to be a superb collaboration! Everything was explained and detailed from entry to furniture, storage spaces to kitchen area. From initial booking through to the event itself and take down was smooth and very straight forward and always with someone we could directly contact if needed. Katie even came along to the event on the day! Using the three defined ground floor spaces really worked well for our event, making it possible to place artists across the whole area creating a natural flow for our visitors. We were also able to utilise the outdoor space - a courtyard with seating and tables - perfect for lunch or coffee and snacks from our caterers! We had a fabulous day and our artists and visitors really enjoyed the space :) We will be back in 2027! Thank you Patch Places :)
Good facilities and friendly staff
I had just moved from London and needed a space to take my client calls and I came upon Patch. I love it here... the space is fabulous and bright and it looks on brand for me as I work with creative entrepreneurs who don’t like stiff working environments. Sit in the cafe, the sofa, a shared table or in a quiet booth for a meeting. All of it is possible. It has also been the best backdrop for my founder interviews that I have been doing for my IG series. I think the best part are actually Katie and Hetty always greeting us with a smile, supporting us when we have questions. And Katie is in a league of her own as the best super connector. I couldn’t quite find my people here and didn’t know where the creatives gathered, so Katie brought some of us together and now we hold monthly meets at Patch to expand our network and our mind. I've been a member at Patch for a few years now. It's a great place to work and stay productive throughout the week. Good facilities for both focussed work and ample booths and meeting rooms too. I've also used Patch as an event space for personal birthday parties and baby showers and it's a really flexible space for this! Would recommend!
Patch was a brilliant venue for our business workshop and such a great co-working space. Everything worked really well on the day, and it created a lovely environment for businesses to learn, network and connect. We’d love to return and host more events with you in the future.
