The easiest 5 star review ever. I've worked in a lot of workspaces and ideaSpace city is by the far the best. Unlike most it really does have a community, partly thanks to a lot of members who've been here for many years, and to Kirsten the fantastic office manager. It has about 40 members (I think) but only around 15 in each day, but everyone knows everyone. There are plenty of office social events from pumpkin carving to wine and cheese evenings, plus every Tuesday and Friday everyone gathers around for treats. In terms of business development the space is filled with people in all stages of their business, from new start-ups to those who've been going for 10 years and others who've sold all of whom happily provide advice. Plus it has the some of the best views in Cambridge.

I've tried a few coworking spaces in Cambridge and Ideaspace is the best, particularly the city location. There's a sociable but respectful atmosphere, a variety of friendly people working on interesting things, and an great view of the Mill for those moments just want to gaze off into space for a bit

This is the best co working space in Cambridge! As a new freelancer in the area, the Ideaspace team really helped give me a daily purpose instead of being stuck at home! It's got a fantastic view, a wonderful location and the sense of community that Kirsten has built up is truly inspiring! I've been to quite a few workspaces over the years in different cities and this is hands down the best. Massive thanks to the whole Ideaspace family who really have created a fantastic community which I am delighted to be part of! There are great events and networking opportunities too.

Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with IdeaSpace.
Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.
While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, IdeaSpace may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.
Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.
IdeaSpace - 3 Laundress Lane has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
