All roads lead to Bury. Or so it appears. Jump on the M66, and you'll be in the centre of Manchester or the glorious hills of Lancashire in no time. If it's the city you are here for, leave the car and take the metro. Whether you're shopping, sightseeing, museum-hopping or working, we're just a short hop away from all the action.

I am writing this review at 05:30am in my room at Bury Village hotel after being kept awake all night by other rooms running in the corridor, smoking out of their windows, talking drunkenly all night and finally having loud sex at 5am. I have come to Bury to undertake a two day weekend exam and am now facing my second day having had zero sleep. I would have spokebn to reception - but Village Hotels do not have a person, let alone a reception ! It's all self service, presumably in a bid from management to cut costs.... Appalling. 100% do not recommend. Criminally bad - completely ruined this crucial weekend for me

Iv stayed at the village numerous times and been dealt with by muneeb most of these times and he never disappoints he’s always got a smile on his face and always helps me out with anything Iv needed help with 10/10 service

The air conditioning was not working in our meeting room so it was very hot but Claire Smith did as much as she could to help. Bringing ice, cordial, fans etc. she was very helpful and friendly. She could not do enough to try and help out and make us as comfortable as can be. She deserves a medal!

My wife and I are regulars at Village Hotels, having stayed in numerous locations up and down the country. We stayed at the Bury hotel on 19th September to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary and also her birthday. This location was chosen due to being close to numerous shopping centres. It was also chosen after having an issue at the Cheadle Village Hotel. Having spoken with Danny, Senior General Manager, he organised a discounted rate at Bury for us to make up for the issues experienced at Cheadle. Upon arrival, we checked in without issue and our room was fantastic. Excellent size and located at the front of the hotel, on the top floor. As Danny knew why we were there, a little complementary gift was waiting for us in the room, which we thought was a lovely gesture. Overall we were both very satisfied with our stay at Bury and our faith in Village Hotels has been restored!!
