We're the big yellow building on Lewes Road, you can't miss us! There is parking available, local bus stops outside and parking for bicycles. We also have a Brighton bike station in our car park.

I’ve been a member for 2.5 years and, as an independent contractor, I can only recommend Plus X. The space is nice, the membership is affordable, and there’s everything I need to conduct my business on a daily basis. There’s also more than meets the eye – after mostly keeping to myself for the first couple of years (which you’re absolutely welcome to do), I’m now increasingly looking into the many services they provide, a lot of which is included in the membership: events, workshops, support programs for new businesses, etc. The staff is also super friendly, and that includes the people working at Cafe Domenica on the ground floor.

Have worked out of Plus-X for 4 years and have loved every day of it! Staff are kind and caring and others in the space are friendly and up for a chat.

Plus X Cafe Domenica: Witnessed around 10.30 am 2 people on their laptop (working), the place was practically empty. I heard the 2 people say they were there as the local library was closed. Also, there is a sign on the Cafe Domenica tables stating that the tables can be used as a workplace (without having to order anything) until 12 noon when the lunch customers have priority. Imagine my surprise when I witnessed the staff whispering and mocking those 2 people, saying that they were not ordering food, then one of the staff asked them to leave, even though the sign says otherwise as previously stated. The attitude of the staff was disgusting and their collective bullying was shocking in a so-called inclusive place. Furthermore, I know for a fact that they let plenty of people sit there and work quietly without ordering anything before noon. I guess they only go after people who look vulnerable. Finally, maybe the staff should realize that nothing is affordable on the menu. I myself can barely afford my daily coffee with my staff discount.
