Very outdated room, was a hilton hotel, but is now a britannia hotel, very shocked in the 21st century to a 60s room,

Rooms dated and not the cleanest, was quite far out from where everything is happening. Leisure facilities were closed due to absence and required booking plus an extra fee.

Grand hotel blackpool was a bit of a letdown to be honest. I expected more given that I had heard good things about it. When we got there from the carpark there was a cannabis smell in the entrance and nobody checking on the carpark entrance. When we got to our room there was a funky smell in the hallway. Our room wasn't nice either to say we paid for a "Seaview" room. The windows were nailed shut so people couldn't open them. We told the desk about this and they just offered us a fan (i saw other windows open). The seaview was just the one small window overlooking the carpark and it might've been nice if I could actually maybe get a bit of seabreaze. Our bathroom wasn't any better either... the bath was stained yellow, the shower is probably a couple of uses away from coming off of the wall and they had just bodged the tile repairs. The last thing I guess I have to gripe about is the bed. There was an option for 2 singles or a double. Well the double is just the two singles pushed together and they constantly come apart. Not a very good stay all in all but it depends what you're looking for
