Lovely modern area of Birmingham city centre it seems to be the entertainment district full of bars, restaurants, clubs, hotels and the Utility arena formerly the national indoor arena great atmosphere at the weekend

Yes I've been before but this time it was right nr our hotel Chose a place where we wanted to eat in the evening and a wander round..really nice walking along the canal network But we saw a boat offering a 1 hr excursion so I took a photo of the times. The next morning we rushed to get there for 11. We'll no-one was there so we stood outside the boat .. I tapped on the window and a youth (I didn't lnow his age?) slowly came towards us. I asked him about the boat ride and he said we only go if we have 6 people. So me being me said it might be better if you stood outside the boat and encouraged people to go on the boat Tbh I was a little annoyed that we had rushed there for 11. Then a lady came out, maybe his Mum, and said he stands at the end of the boat in the cold, so I said he'll be ok today as you've got no passengers and walked off!! .But the area is nice to have a walk round pattic on a sunny day
