As a renter, my experience of Bairstow Eves Billericay branch was very disappointing and frustrating. They are very friendly and chatty but fail to get the job done and action items on their side. I had 2 experiences, where it took a prolonged time and lots of chasing, in order for the action to happen. The first time, I wanted to renew our contract with some adjustments and it took lots of chasing and follow ups as they were unable to action what was agreed with the landlord and update the contract. The second time, they took over a month to return our deposit. Despite both the landlord and I, confirming to them that it can be returned the same day as speaking with them, they decided to wait a week before instructing the deposits team. Friendly bunch but they made everything 10x harder than it had to be.
