So I am staying for a single night at floor 2 & I am can still hear loud music being played at their gym at 10:35pm. I was traveling last night, so couldn’t sleep and I thought I will sleep early, but here I am sleepless. I am not sure if this issue exists on other floors too or it’s just the second floor. It’s not a bad hotel but what if I can’t sleep, what should I do with a clean room and big tv

An otherwise exemplary hotel visited tarnished by two things. The bed was huge, there's not only a restaurant/bar that serves an amazing breakfast, but a coffee shop on the ground floor, and the staff are really welcoming and helpful. If it wasn't for the fact that the shower didn't have a door to close (resulting in the shower water going all over the bathroom floor), and the button to frost/unfrost the bathroom wall not working, I'd have scored the hotel higher.

Attended here on a Saturday in the later evening, loud intimidating people outside drinking. Very off putting. But room clean, bed comfy. Staff polite and helpful.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Whether you need a short-term workspace solution or something more permanent, Village Hotels - VWorks - Basingstoke has you covered. Meeting Rooms are available by the hour. But you can book Day Passs and Meeting Rooms for an entire day.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Village Hotels, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Village Hotels.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.
