I went for a family birthday we went for breakfast. It took about 20 minutes for them to take our drinks or order the two girls who are working so they don’t normally do breakfast so they weren’t that knowledgeable about what things came with but it was okay they were lovely when our drinks came. They forgot the table water and two other drinks so I had to go and ask for those. It took another half hour for them to take off food order most of us ordered the half moon which is the small English breakfast and then two people ordered the full moon the full English breakfast. It took an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive when we did it was lovely and the chef had given some people extra eggs so we had two eggs instead of one which was very nice When we came to pay. We had been charged for the extra eggs although we did not ask for them the breakfast was nice but the service was shocking for the type of restaurant. This is I thought it would’ve been so much better really disappointed unless you want to go for breakfast for 2 1/2 hours. I do not Recommend

Beautiful restaurant and decor. However breakfast very greasy and overpriced. £10 for 2 x oatcakes with very dry bacon and a slither of cheese dripping in grease. We were polite , ate, paid and disappeared. Staff polite but won't be hurrying back which is very unfortunate 😕

Lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Very attentive service and we were given a tour and an explanation of the history when we arrived which was an unexpected little bonus. Dedicated vegan menu which was really appreciated by the vegan in our party - the dishes had actually had care and thought put into them rather than being an afterthought. Hispi cabbage portion was very small but other than that, a perfect lunch for a special birthday celebration.
