The special student-employee status is a joke in name only... It's impossible to complete a course at this university as an adult with a real job (even if you manage to study from books or get course materials shared). In fact, it's impossible to get an exemption from practical sessions. You have to submit the special status application in person at the office (which is only open during office hours)... even though you work during office hours... Good luck if you're an adult returning to studies with a fixed work schedule, and you're not, for example, self-employed...

A diploma that brings nothing in companies I was told that the IUT does not help young people to really train while private schools provide more broad training where there are contracts for example being at the IUT is being in a public school or after a BUT there is nothing more in the end

Serious Concerns About Accessibility, Program Quality, and Ethical Standards at this bad University. I am writing here a review to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding my experience in the AI Master's program at your university from september 2024 to February 2025. As a disabled student of 38 years old and already engineer, I have been consistently denied proper access to accommodations and basic accessibility measures — despite repeated requests and five months of waiting and asking again and again. This is a serious violation of my rights and of the law. We are in 2024, not 1970, and yet obtaining even accessibility support felt like a constant battle. Despite already holding an engineering degree and being an experienced engineer, I faced unnecessary obstacles at every step because of this university and bad staff, and I gave up the master ! The academic program itself was outdated, overly theoretical, and disconnected from current industry needs. Much of the AI of 1 semester content dated back to the 1980s and so theoric only, with little relevance to today’s real-world applications. Instead of practical, up-to-date coursework, the curriculum was filled with general computer science that was of little value to someone aiming to specialize to AI. It felt like a enormous waste of time. What’s more disturbing is the attitude of some faculty members, teachers, who openly criticized engineering schools face to me when they knew about my degree I got in 2009 — including the school from which I graduated — suggesting they produce "bad program", “bad engineers” and that “university is better.” Such unprofessional comments appeared more rooted in jealousy or resentment than in any objective academic critique. Many of these individuals were of similar age to me, and seemingly frustrated that they had not pursued a more competitive path themselves ! Even worse, when I raised these issues and exercised my right to speak up about the lack of support for students with disabilities, I was met with hostility from the university's administration. One particular administrator seemed personally offended and even attempted to initiate disciplinary proceedings against me, simply for voicing valid concerns. It's a shame ! To add to this shocking experience and this administrator hatred me and wanting revenge, I learned the 1stemester of 2024-2025, that a new student with a criminal conviction for sexual assault was admitted into the sixth year of medical school and allowed to practice as a medical intern at the hospital in Toulouse. How can the university justify such leniency in one case, while aggressively retaliating against a disabled student advocating for their legal rights ? This situation reveals deep dysfunction within the institution — from outdated academic content, to lack of disability support, to troubling ethical inconsistencies. It is clear that serious reflection is needed at all levels of the university: administration, faculty, and leadership. The current environment does not meet basic standards of quality, inclusion, or professionalism ! I voluntarily withdrew from the program due to these cumulative issues, which made continuing impossible and counterproductive. I sincerely hope that the administrator in question will not retaliate for this review. He previously warned me not to speak negatively about the university or risk damaging its reputation, which I found deeply inappropriate and concerning. I have proofs of everything I say in this review.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, The Paul Sabatier Catalyst may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • Le Catalyseur operates during regular business hours, which are listed above. For any requests or requirements outside of these hours, please contact the coworking operator directly.

  • Please reach out to The Paul Sabatier Catalyst for more detailed information on membership options and pricing.
