We had a very unpleasant experience at Bilbao Airport security. An agent with short, reddish hair spoke to us in a sarcastic and dismissive tone when we placed our suitcase on the tray. Then, another agent rudely reprimanded us for carrying two drinks that we had simply forgotten in our suitcase. We are fully aware of the rules, but the treatment was unnecessarily abrupt and unprofessional. We are not asking for special treatment, just respect and proper treatment of passengers. We hope these attitudes will be reviewed, as they are unacceptable in a public service.
